The Make it Good initiative aims to support, inspire, and connect current and future business leaders, entrepreneurs, and community leaders in opportunities that enhance the sustainability of community, the environment, and commerce over the long term.
What we do
Make it Good brings professionals together to vision, craft and commit to facilitating and stewarding the evolution of environmental, economic, and cultural sustainability. Make it Good defines sustainability as our ability or capacity to endure. We look at how we can resolve the 3 pillars of sustainability which include: the environment, the economy and the community (also referred to as the social) over the long term.
How we do it
Programs
Make it Good programs are designed to:
- Inform indviduals and organizations about integrating sustainability as a business practice through learning-based activities and sharing research fundings
- Connect like-minded individuals using face-to-face gatherings and online networking
- Evolve the sustainability as a leadership practice through mentorship, membership, and volunteerism
Partnerships
Make it Good defines partnership as an alliance created between Make it Good and external organizations committed to balancing their environmental, economic, and cultural sustainability with those of our city.
The purpose of Make it Good's partnerships are to create a formalized peer-dialogue and referral structure, comprised of Make it Good accredited partners, whereby challenges, solutions and ideation can be proposed and discussed.
